What is Nightfall?

Oh I've been looking forward to this question for a loooooong time~

Nightfall: Nightfall is an anime project I briefly thought of in the year 2009. Since then the story has expanded and plans haven't just been sketched out. Now things are progressing and character designs are being complete. Afterwards settings and other important details will be made.

Story: Nightfall follows the story of a girl named Sierra Cross. She is a 15 year old high school girl who slowly gets dragged into the fantasy world known as Nightfall. Nightfall is a combination of many mythologies combined into one- not to mention it's own mythology along with the others. Nightfall is similar to Earth except for the fact it is a bit more tropical and there are elves instead of humans that inhabit it. Also along with common animals- new ones also reside in Nightfall. 

Continued: Ultimately the story will follow Sierra as she ages and figures out Nightfall's origins- mythology- and even Sierra's own hidden past. All the while dodging death at every corner. Enemies like Demons, Shades, Beserkers, and etc get in her way- not to mention mysterious people like the acid wielding Venom, Anti-Hero Saxon, and the mysterious masked man.

Brief mythology: Before all else existed- an order was made to help all the worlds stabilize and bear life. This order was known as the Ki. It was the Ki who passed down knowledge we use today. When all life had become stable- they vanished back to whence they came and watched silently- guarding the worlds they helped nurture. However, an event took place and all the Ki vanished completely. Still life lived on and one of the Ki's direct decedents began to pave the way of many events to unfold. Follow Sierra Cross- a "normal" high school student as she gets dragged into the world of Nightfall- one of the main worlds the Ki watched over- as she learns of it's past- it's future- and her own fate.

Nightfall - while it may be my main project- is only one of many I plan to make. So yeah c: there ya go
